Times for Baimajing follow the Muslim World League. Calculation authorities differ on how far below the horizon the sun must sit for Fajr to begin and Isha to end, which is the main reason published times vary between sources. China conventionally follows this authority, and it can be changed from the controls on this page if your mosque follows another.
Baimajing sits at 19.7° north, where day length varies by around two hours between June and December. Fajr comes noticeably earlier in summer and Isha noticeably later, so the gap between them narrows in the long months.
Asr in Baimajing is shown by the standard reckoning used by the Shafi'i, Maliki and Hanbali schools, which marks its start when an object's shadow equals its own length.
