Times for Colombo follow the University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi. Calculation authorities differ on how far below the horizon the sun must sit for Fajr to begin and Isha to end, which is the main reason published times vary between sources. Sri Lanka conventionally follows this authority, and it can be changed from the controls on this page if your mosque follows another.
At 6.9° from the equator, Colombo sees relatively little seasonal change in day length — roughly twelve hours of daylight year round. Fajr and Isha shift by only a few minutes across the year, so a timetable memorised in one season stays broadly usable in the next.
